Three laps up and down Emory Road with stops for exercises

  • Powell High – 10 Manmakers – cause that’s what Clark Duncan does to all of us
  • Frontier Phone Company (not sure how they stay in business) – 15 Mtn Climber
  • First TN Bank – ATMS – 15 shoulder taps, 10 hand release Merkins, 10 Merkins
  • Orange Pearl Spa – 20 Monkey Humpers cause they feel soooo gooooodd
  • Car Wash – WMD x 10 reps
  • Skate Park – 20 Squat Jumps

We split into two groups of five; did Man makers together each time and ran opposite ways around the loop…switching directions each time.

Had more time to go so we went WINDOWS to the WALL

  • 45 sec Window sits by the entrance to the school
  • 15-25 Derkins with your feet up on the wall

Joker’s Wild at the Big Ball

WARM-O-RAMA:

A few side straddle hops, couple of cherry pickers, BIG arm circles, overhead claps, and front side claps.

THA-THANG:
We took a little mosey to the amphitheater to get out of the wet.  We discovered a pack of playing cards and a dry erase board set out on the stage.  Dry Erase board had this written on it…

  • Hearts – Burpees
  • Clubs – Merkins
  • Diamond – Odd – Dips / Even – Derkins
  • Spades – Squats
  • Aces – Sprint the stairs 5 times
  • Jokers – WILD

We spread the cards out, face down…then flipped them over and followed the commands . Example – 5 of Hearts – 5 Burpees; Queen of Clubs – 10 Merkins.

This totals up to 84 of each rep.  Joker #1 – 25 “My People” by G6; Joker #2 – 8 Bodybuilders by Amazon

We started in the front of the school, then took a mosey round back to the track…had to take the scenic route by the Bojangles.  Informed the crew that it was time for a Seabiscuit.

  • 1 Lap – 5 Burpees, 10 Merkins, 15 BBS, 20 Squats
  • 2 Laps – repeat exercises
  • 3 Laps – repeat exercises
  • 4 Laps – repeat exercises
  • 3 Laps – repeat exercises
  • 2 Laps – repeat exercises

Walls of Jericho – 7 reps of 7 exercises followed by 7 laps around a building to tear it down

Train Tracks – after a mosey to the Powell High football field – modified Indian Run starting on the goal line – first man runs to 5 yard line then lays down, next man run over him and lays on the 10 yard line, next man runs over both and lays on the 15.  When last PAX has run over the 5 yard line, first man gets up and runs over all PAX members and lays down on the next yard markers.  Down to one endzone and back to starting point

Psalm 46:10 – “Be Still and Know that I am God” – Encouragement today to trust that God has you and takes care of you.  As the chaos of life can overwhelm us take comfort in the fact that God is in control.  Don’t panic…relax and Be Still.

MOLESKIN:
Prayers for Logan (a teenager) as he battles cancer in Madisonville.  Continued recovery for the Brickyard PAX as we fight off the flu.
