Nehemiah was given a vision by God to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem. The task itself was difficult, but he gathered the people and materials to make the vision a reality. But he had doubters: Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arab. They doubted him, ridiculed him, and threatened him. Nehemiah never lost sight of his vision, trusted God, and stayed ready to fight if necessary.

Nehemiah said, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

We all have a task at hand, and we also all have doubters. We must (1) never lose sight of our vision,  (2) trust God, and (3) fight for what has been entrusted to us.

MOLESKIN
The PAX stayed in the Circle of Trust as we repped out some familiar and not-so-familiar leg and ab exercises. Because the Q didn’t effectively communicate the need for CMUs, a few audibles were called on the fly to ensure all could participate and get better together.

1 Chronicles 28:20—The Lord declares us to be strong and courageous and to act. We are often paralyzed by fear of failure and expectations and it keeps us from acting. The Lord promises He will be with us until the completion of the service of His kingdom. Our actions serve his Kingdom, and we have to be courageous in order to be HIMs for His kingdom. We are like Peter trying to walk on water. When we take our focus off of His constant support, we lose our courage and we begin to falter, unable to serve Him. It is our honor to be apart of His story and to serve His kingdom. All we have to do is be courageous and act.

MOLESKIN
PAX came in ready to work and started off hump day right with some sprinting and a mix of workouts. Finished the day crushing the hill while carrying coupons together as a group. Finishing the 11s on the hill could not have been done alone, and the PAX came together to encourage each other through a tough workout. Woodshack finished it off with a new brutal ab workout, the “Never Cross Dolly”.

Each day we talk about what it looks like to be a HIM (High Impact Man) to our wives, fiancés, girlfriends, kids, family and coworkers. Even more so, being a HIM completely changes our stature as men and the way we live our lives. When thinking about becoming a better HIM each day I wanted to be reminded of who we are as men. The scripture was Romans 5: 6-10, with the focus being on this: “ While we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly…While we were still sinners, Christ died for us…”

As men, we have to remember who the true HIM is in our lives. We are weak sinners who have an incredible god. Through his blood we can go out each day and become better HIMs in his name. This weekend focus on the true HIM and there you will find your strength.

Discussed work ethic and not letting other people outwork you. Remember the acronym O.W.E = Out Work Everyone.

I may not be as fast as Proton, or able to do squats like Ratchet, or merkins like Bandwagon, but that isn’t going to stop me from trying.

I used to encourage my Marines that hard work eventually pays off. It may not pay off today, tomorrow, next week, or next month, but eventually hard work always pays off.

Encouraged the PAX to apply the same enthusiasm and work ethic that they do at F3 in other parts of their daily activities.

Finally, we talked about attitude. All the hard work in the world will be forgotten if you do not do it with a positive attitude.

Getting better together like a Boss!!

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:2, 7 NIV

He has given us a spirit of power, and not of timidity! Let’s tackle this day with power and take on the things that are right, not the things that are comfortable and easy.
