THA-THANG:

  1. Descending ladder.

Each man OYO work your way down the ladder from top to bottom.  After each round run across the parking lot & down the hill to the ball field fence.  Rinse & Repeat eliminating the lowest remaining exercise each round.  Alternate bernie sanders each trip up the hill when coming back from the ball field fence.

  • 10 Thrust Merkins
  • 9 Reverse Lunges
  • 8 Box Cutters
  • 7 Burpees
  • 6 Squatjacks
  • 5 Superman Swims
  • 4 Dry Docks
  • 3 Iron Mikes (4 ct)

2.  Bear Square Crawl.

Four cones set up in a square.  Crawl the square while always facing the same direction.  Stop at each corner & perform the following:

  • Round 1:  10 Merkins
  • Round 2:  10 Pickle Pounders
  • Round 3:  out of time!  One long crawl to the end of the parking lot & Crawl Bear back.

Global Warming Around “The Fountain of Youth”:
– Al Gore, slowly shuffling in a circle switching direction after each movement;
– – Merkins
– – Bobby Hurley
– – Groiners
– – Hip Extensions
– All PAX in plank position. Q starts with 1 merkin then leap frog all PAX around the fountain returning to starting position. Next PAX does merkin when jumped by PAX member next to them in the plank. Worked up to 2 merkins.

Mosey back to A.O. with some Bernie Sanders and Burpee Broad Jumps.

Stepping out of comfort. We do not continue to grow and become better if we continue doing the same comfortable movements day in and day out. Throughout the bible we find stories about how someone wasn’t comfortable doing what God has set out for them to achieve, but no matter the struggle they end up overcoming the uncomfortable request and become someone greater. Remember that God will be with you, and He will provide the opportunities.
MOLESKIN:
Absolutely LOVE this A.O.  Tons of space for any beatdown one could dream up. Multiple hills so the PAX don’t see the same thing or know what to expect prior to the Q calling it out. AND, perhaps the most important note: the mumble chatter that was ALIVE during the beatdown today #TheyAreLearning #BLESSED.

THA-THANG

  • Run to the magical staircase, but each light requires 5 burpees
  • Pair up, 100 squats, 100 LBC, and 100 burpees between partners. While one is doing exercises the other runs up and down the hill.
  • Mosey to the Matterdome (Matterdon, Masterdome, Mastadon?) hill.
  • 15 four count merks Cadence
  • Run the hill to the PAVALON
  • 70 pullups combined, dips while you wait
  • Mosey back to magic hill where we had two more trips up and down
  • Then Mosey back to the AO

Discipline. Discipline may be your best friend if you can incorporate into your character. Discipline is about doing. Thinking of course is important, but until action is taken, nothing will get done. Personally, I am trying to wake up at 4:30 a.m. every morning, whether or not I am working out. Additionally, I am trying to work ahead of my classes, even if there are no assignments due or open.
