CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
For a couple years now, God has been trying to teach me to slow down and be with Him, and learn how to listen to His voice. When I resigned from my position, I thought I would be able to slow and be better at hearing God, but I found I wrestled more with restlessness than while I was working.

I have been disappointed in this season of restlessness: I have not been able to still my soul, to listen for very long –  only in moments – and understand this season of my life.

Meditating on Psalm 23 has been very helpful, as well as using the Pause App from Wild at Heart. But my prayer, even as I prepare to be away on vacation, is found in Matthew 11:28-30, particularly in the Message translation.

Matt 11:28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (The Message)

Mosey to the inner loop road just over from shovel flag. We took a detour and everyone thought I was lost.

There we met an 80 lb sandbag

We divided up into groups of 2. Group 1 partner carries the sandbag ~10-12 steps then burpee (repeat sequence 3 times then run back to the first station. Group 2 will do the same and so on…While each group is taking their turn the other groups will be working on the 1st station of exercises. When the sandbag reaches the next station everyone progresses to that station. Stations were roughly .24 miles apart.

1st station

21 of each-15 of each-9 of each (In between each round run to wherever the sandbag is and back)

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Something is leading you and your family. It may be media, culture, etc. For many of us, leadership is a passive thing we put on other people. That is not what we are called to do as men. We are to be leaders in our community and especially our families. It needs to be intentional with a mission and vision for what leadership looks like. For me, leading means following Jesus.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
Ephesians 6:10‭-‬18

Every generation has to equip themselves for fitness, work ect (proper clothes)

And every generation has to also face new evil/obstacles that come .. we as HIM need to properly equip ourselves with the whole Armor of God so we can go forth to help the next generation.
