CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Couple of days ago, I stumbled upon a viral video performance of Jane Marczweski, professionally known as “Nightbirde” from America’s Got Talent (video link here: https://youtu.be/bTJ3eeYrHI4). During the audition, however, Nightbirde shared some tough personal news — she had “some cancer” in her lungs, spine and liver. Nightbirde also later revealed that she was given a 2% chance of survival.

While singing her original song, “It’s Okay”, Nightbirde’s authenticity and ethereal vocals took center stage. The song is about getting lost, losing, or being down and it’s okay. Focusing on small wins in our daily lives makes us successful. Things may not turn out the way we want it to be, and it’s probably because God has better plans for us.

She ended her performance with a quote: “you can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy”. So gents, I hope you keep focusing on those small wins in your daily lives, keep your chin up and know that the man above has better plans for us when you’re feeling down and lost sometimes. Waking up and being there in an F3 beatdown,  smashing thru the workout is already a win for each and everyone of us and it means a lot just you being out there for your brothers.

“If you’re lost, we’re all a little lost and it’s alright. It’s okay.” – Nightbirde

MOLESKIN:

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

Ripped off Extreme Ownership – Jocko Willink and Leif Babin, former Navy SEALs.

“there are no bad teams, only bad leaders”

in terms of setting and enforcing standards and expectations, “it’s not what you preach, it’s what you tolerate.”

Think about that in your work. But also think about that at a personal level. What are you tolerating?

Challenge today is to Take extreme ownership of your personal and professional life and lead yourself & those around you to becoming the very best version of themselves

MOLESKIN:

It was great to be back with a solid group of HIMs. Really appreciated the push from Trunk.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Sacrifice. I-beam spoke about our friend WaxJob’s relentless service and sacrifices that he makes for others by putting himself behind everyone else. A true HIM that we should look at for inspiration. Prayed for his mother-in-law and family. Prayers for Biscuits dad and the tragedy that happed on the lake with the teenager and older man.
MOLESKIN:
So the Q was very much winded during the work out. I haven’t been out too much lately and the humidity was quite a shock to my system. I was encouraged to keep going harder by several of the PAX, specifically the freak of nature Tweet-e! One of the things that F3 is so attractive to others is the fact that we push each other to do better. Working out or trying to get fit on our own is very difficult. If I was by myself today I definitely would have stopped and probably not have finished the full workout. Probably would’ve gone and got a biscuit too! So for this PAX member, I’m truly grateful for the rest of the PAX pushing me to keep going.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

Piety or Reverence is a deep respect for God. A person with reverence recognizes our total reliance on God and comes before God with humility, trust, and love. Piety is the gift where we pay worship and duty to God.

Willingness to worship and serve God. Piety takes that willingness beyond a sense of duty so that we desire to worship God and to serve Him out of Love. Piety is the instinctive affection for God that makes or allows us to desire to render worship to Him.

Examples of Piety in Scripture:

-Abraham’s potential sacrifice of his Son in Gen. 22:12

-Jacob recognizing God’s hand guiding his life in Gen. 48:15

-Joseph would not consent to anything that would displease God in Gen. 39:9

Paul says in James 1:26-27 that true piety manifests itself also in a genuine love of neighbor.

Practiced piety that is done “For the Love of God” will always enrich & nourish the participant. “By kindness & piety guilt is expiated” Proverbs 16:6

MOLESKIN:

Prayers for Ribbed’s wife, Tweet-E’s friend for healing and recovery for both himself and his family. Hans’ job interview today. I (Blindside) am looking for an admin job for next year in Knox County Schools, and my wife is trying to get back into Knox County as a teacher after stepping away from the classroom for a few years to be with our kids.
