John 13 – Jesus washed his disciples feet. Real men serve others. A mark of a man is to serve others. To carry the burden, physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well. To give credit and take the blame. To love the annoying guy at work. To do the hard thing when you just really don’t want to. Remember Jesus – God of universe – laid aside his glory to serve others. Let’s do the same, brothers!

It’s getting warmer, but the PAX keeps on doing work!  It was brutal running Cardiac Hill with coupons, but not only did everyone make it they made sure the men on their left and right made it as well.  Great morning and great way to get ready for the holiday weekend!

Where do we find our Significance?

I have been reading a book called the true measure of a man that was introduced to us by Byonce and God has really been using it to speak to me about where I find my significance.

Significance is the belief that your life makes a lasting difference.

There is a Theory proposed in the book the men find their significance in how the most important person in his life sees him. I think that often it is easy for men to get that confused.

What do you think would happen if Christ were the most important person in our life. What if Christ were the audience that we wanted to please most? It would truly transform our lives because Jesus understands we are each of incredible value. We are of infinite worth to him. He loves us with everlasting love.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

The Theme: A Tour of Lakeshore’s Peaks and Valleys

The Scene: 27 degrees, clear with a hint of Gloom!  After a great call by Cap’n Crunch to call off the Saturday workout due to snow, the men of F3 Knoxville were in withdrawals for 2 days. We wanted to get better together so 60, yes 60 men showed up this morning for a leg day beat down! Spirits were high, mumble chatter was loud!

Choices and Consequence: Everyday, we make choices, big or small. With Choices you have consequences, good or bad. With F3, I made a choice to get up early, be with my F3 brothers and work hard. The consequence became much greater than fitness. It has given me fellowship with men that I would probably have never met if not for F3 and has taught me to challenge myself more in all facets of life, including faith. What do you choose?
