CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

Mathew chapter 6 verse 25 – 34Do Not Worry –

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

Noonan –

I had a really short friendship Down Range in Naperville F3 with Noonan, but what I remember is a that he was definitely a HIM.  He spoke of the love for his family wife Jenny, Sean, Kelly, Joe, and Luke (and a golden retriever named Lucky).  He was found unresponsive and died tragically after a solo evening run Thursday night at the young age of 50 and only 3 days after his birthday.  This morning we ran the mileage shown on his watch that he shared with me because I forgot to start mine on Tuesday morning. Today we finished the mileage together in F3 fashion, working hard together (and not worrying about whether we will finish, but no doubt this PAX is made up of a bunch of Beasts – never doubt these guys!).  The F3Naperville Nantan converged with his family in attendance for the COT and the PAX gave his son the rolled-up flag signifying the loss of a brother.  So, we should not Worry about such trivial things in life and remember to strive to be like Jesus, a HIM.

Lord’s Prayer recited out loud as a group – Amen

MOLESKIN:

This AO of brothers is a blessing; really fun guys that work hard together, a bunch of beasts that get up early and return for another the next time, always bringing up the six.  While we all come from different walks of life we are bound together by the seamless and often not mentioned principles of F3 (it’s your actions that are spoken), and wherever you post I trust you will find the same.  So, when one group/AO loses a brother, we all feel the pain of loss.  While this was not our typical workout routine, every single HIM finished strong (and ahead of the Q- great job!)  It is a blessing and my pleasure to be a part of F3. Awesome job, 3.15 miles (exactly the same distance Noonan and I ran together) 55 Burpees, 55 Merkins, and a few other thang’s…

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

Men we need to kill last period I have been working all my adult life in battling lust period however I’ve come to realize that I’ve been more serving lust than killing it period John Piper once said you must be killing sin orcin will be killing you. It’s rung true with me this year as I consider the ways that lust destroys. I come from a broken home where my dad looked at pornography all of his life and never tried to fight or walk in the light. I know what pornography’s end is and that is death. I spoke to a much older wiser man and asked him how does he fights in period he told me that when he was given his sons The Lord used that to stir up a hatred for pornography he wanted to one day look at his sons in the eye and say I do not struggle with pornography I hate pornography. Additionally he raised the value of his wife in their home period he made much of her he laid down his life for her he spoke highly of her period he sought her out thought of her talk to her. And by God’s grace he says he was able to build a true hatred for pornography. I’d encourage you all to think about could you look your sons in the eye and say I don’t struggle with pornography. I know that’s not the case in my life and I’m praying daily that God stirs up hatred so that one day a I may be able to do that.

COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
An encouragement in the New Year to take some time each week to plan.  Planning has made all the difference in being intentional with my time, attacking the week, and making sure the things that should get my first and best actually get that.  Through planning, you take time to list out your roles and goals for the week and make sure the most important things get on your calendar.  When I fail to plan, I drift into the week and often find myself just responding to whatever is coming my way instead of focusing.  It effects my kids when I plan out our nights and how we are going to use our time together (so we don’t just default to tv).  It effects my wife when I plan out our date nights and time for communication throughout the week where I am seeking to draw her out and care for her.  So, take time each week to think thru what you are called to do, what is most important, and put those things on the calendar in pen.

COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Revisiting the Q’s BOM from last year, it focused on getting out of my comfort zone and trusting God more.  (Phil. 4:13 and think about Paul’s level of discomfort with his mission).  Taking stock of last year, I’m disappointed in the difficulty I showed to trust God with decisions that might get me out of my comfort zone.  I need to do better.

COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA

19 PAX – No FNGs

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

Stand. Remember. Proclaim. Fight.

Take this to heart men.

Stand – STAND UP. The world needs High Impact Men to stand up. Stand Up for yourself, stand up for your family, stand up for your friends, stand up for your loved ones, stand up for what you believe in. You have a voice and you have a story. Stand Up and own it. He calls us to stand up as High Impact Men.

Remember: REMEMBER who you are and WHOSE you are. The enemy is cunning in the ways he tries to make us forget who we are and whose we are. Remember when the Lord showed up in your life. Remember why you do what you do. Remember why you go to your job during the week. Remember why you come out here in the morning. Remember who He calls you to be and live out of that. Lest we forget that we were created in HIS image.

Proclaim: PROCLAIM as High Impact Men. This bonfire that we gather around called F3 in the mornings needs to be shared and multiplied with guys just like you and me before we came into F3. You have a voice and a story to tell. Tell it courageously and proclaim as a High Impact Man. Whether that’s here in F3 or in your own family or relationship or at work – as High Impact Men – proclaim boldly.

Fight: We are not all called to pick up a gun and fight. God bless those that are. However, as men, as High Impact Men – we are called to stand up and fight. Fight for yourself, fight for your wife, your girlfriend, your family, your friends. Fight because there is some good left in this world and it is worth fighting for. Cary the fight wherever you go. Weapons come in many different shapes and forms. Your story and your voice and your heart can be weapons of mass life-giving that the enemy hates and wants to destroy. Fight spiritually, fight emotionally, fight prayerfully.

It is nothing short of an HONOR to be out here with you all in the mornings and lead. If you’ve led before you know what it’s like, if you haven’t – come on. It’s time for you to find your voice and lead. We need to hear it.

MOLESKIN:

PRs:

  • CheatSheet’s Friend who died suddenly. Funeral is this afternoon in Farragut.
