Yesterday we had to sit out a girl with ADHD, and talk to her about following directions. Last night, her mom messaged me that both her and her daughter really appreciated not being scolded publicly. As a kid with ADHD she is used to always getting in trouble publicly. So, if a 10 year old girl can learn the values of handling issues privately, then I think we can too.

I wanted to mary today with thunderburpees because it puts you in a mindset of “I can’t do this” yet we did it anyways. One of the best things about F3 is it pushes us to not only become physically stronger, but mentally as well

MOLESKIN:
I love the new spiderman movie, seen it 3 times now. And one of the scenes that sticks out in every spiderman is when Peter is told “With great power, comes great responsibility.”

This line has stuck with me because ever since I was 15 I’ve had some sort of leadership role with my job teaching martial arts. Now not only do I lead students, but also a team of instructors, and  it isn’t always easy. However, I believe that is what I am here to do, it’s my power. So, whether it’s at work or at home, we all have the power to lead, and it is our responsibility to.
