THA-THANG:
Mosey to JUCOmanjaro and partner up.

One HIM performs 10xMerkins, 10xSquats, 10xBBS while the other HIM bear crawls up JUCOmanjaro. HIM performing exercises sprints to catch the bear and they swap places. The PAX knocked this one out of the park and summited JUCOmanjaro in record time.

Mosey to Maple Street parking lot, stopping for 6 burpees on the way, and grab a different partner.

One HIM runs clockwise and the other counter-clockwise around the building. Short sides of the building were covered using burpee broad jumps and Frogs/Lunges. When you pass your partner on the front of the building perform 30 supermans as a team. When you pass on the back of the building perform 30 Heels-to-Heaven as a team. You get a freebie if you pass on the end caps.

Being uncomfortable is necessary for growth. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone for the sake of getting better. Practicing those things that make you uncomfortable will make you better at them…like burpees and bear crawls.

THE SCENE: Humid with some rain

WARM-O-RAMA:

  • 4 mile pre-workout run
  • 21 SSH
  • Some random stretching then mosey to tennis court.

THA-THANG:
4 cones around the track. Do the first exercise then run to next cone and continue with that until the 4th cone. Increasing each exercise amount until 28 then decrease by 7 until you are back to 7 reps.

  • 7 – Burpees
  • 14 – Up and under (per side)
  • 21 – Rosalitas
  • 28 – Plank and Sprint – 4 count to 28 and then sprint to next cone
  • 21 – Superman/reverse superman (21 Mississippi count then roll to 6 for the same count)
  • 14 – Imperial Squat Walker
  • 7 – Mountain merkins (right, left, right, left) then 2 merkins; equals 1 rep.

THA-THANG:
Mosey to the playground, one of my favorite spots for a small circuit.

  • 10 pull-ups, run to amphitheatre
  • 20 derkins at the amphitheatre, run to the top of the hill
  • 10 burpees at the top of the hill
  • Repeat

Mosey to The Ridge

  • 15 Freddie Mercury IC
  • Run to the top
  • 15 squats
  • Repeat

Mosey to highschool track

  • Catch me if you can
  • 5 burpees
  • 10 merkins (Archie and Frenchie got an extra lap in!)

Mosey back to the shovel flag and then do a couple of sprints across the parking lot with 5 lunges each leg at the ends.

YHC is probably one of the worst at socializing.  I don’t seek to develop relationships, but they are needed. I encourage everyone to get out of their comfort zone and try to make good friends because we need them to lean on sometimes.

    The pax had some quick stretching while we went through the different stations

    7 pain stations consisting of:

  • 30 sec electric chair 30 sec plank hold with rucks
  • 20 sandbag squats 100ft sandbag sled drag
  • 20 diamond merkins 15 COBRA merkins each arm
  • 20 squirls 20 bent rows with sandbag
  • 20 stocky balbowas 10 rep shoulder blasters with pre rocks
  • 20 bbs 20 v ups with pre rocks

Pax had 3.5 minutes at each station with a battle buddy to get AMRAP of each excersize

Part of a sermon from last Sunday, if we aren’t in Gods word consistently our default will become self worship. Truth is found in Gods word and we need to live our lives with the idea there is something bigger than us in this world. When we live as though we are the center of the universe it leads to a miserable and stale existence.

We prayed for lady junk who is starting chemo soon and for tweet-e’s friend Kyle who is going through a 12 step program currently.

  • Truckbiscuit:  1 lap, PT;  2 laps, PT;  3 laps, PT;   4 laps, PT;   3 laps, PT;   2 laps, PT;   1 lap, done.   Laps were run around the soccer field.  PT was 20 squats, 20 big boys, 20 flutter kicks.
