  • Run a lap around the island

THA-THANG:
Grab something heavy and begin a slow mosey.  Weights consisted of Ratchet’s gas cans, several kettlebells, 30, 25, 20 lb dumbbells, and the golden cmu.  We moseyed for about 100-150 yards at a time around the park, stopping for 25 reps of the following exercises.

  • Burpees
  • Nose wipers
  • Squats
  • Gas pumpers
  • Curls
  • Dry Docks

Once we reached the paved hill by the bathrooms.  11’s….sort of.  We started out doing 11’s but then the QIC changed it to just 10 reps at the top and 10 reps at the bottom each time.  Merkins at the top, Squats at the bottom.   Each trip up the hill the PAX carried all the weight and were allowed to leave the lightest weight at the top of the hill.  We were done once we’d worked our way down to just a single 87lb gas can.   Probably 10 or 11 trips up and down the hill with the weight.

Mosey back to the AO with the weight.  Stop along the way for sets of 25 of the following:

  • Dips
  • American Hammers
  • Burpees

Crossbar brought a digital scale so we all had to weigh sand bags and rucks

SAND BAGS – 2 40#, 3 60#, 1 90#

THA-THANG:
Rucked coupons to the play ground and got into teams of 3.

1 battle buddy farmer carries 2 sand baab up the hill to the bathroom while others do the exercises below.   Everyone made 3 carries.

THE MULE

Rucked a lap as the .mule, switching as needed.

The mule is the 90# bag on your shoulders and 2 40# bags as farmer carry.   Or, 3 60# bags.

Watt Rd field

Teams of 3.   1 member front carries the 60# bag while team mates bear crawl with him.   Switch as needed.

That didn’t work out very well cause the front carry wasn’t hard enough and the bear crawl couldn’t keep up.   So we switched it to front carry walking lunges.   That slowed him down!!!

At each light along the path do the following (14 lights)

  • 5 burpees
  • 5 merkins
  • 10 BBS
  • 10 Squats

Omaha about half way and did the exercises at every other light to save time

11’s at the bathrooms: underhand grip easy ups and merkins at end of parking lot adjacent to Watt Rd.

Battle Buddy, at playground 1 buddy does close grip lat pull ups while partner runs to end of lot and does 5 – 8 count man makers, switch and repeat 2x.

THA-THANG:
2 teams, 2 pax each team

Team 1 is to move coupons across field by bear crawl sandbag pulls (80#), sandbag toss (60#), switch as needed.

Team 2 do the following exercises, 10 reps each and repeat circuit as needed

  • Alternate shoulder press
  • Some weird low, pass through lunge thing
  • Rows
  • Halo’s

Teams switch and repeat

Next evelution for the teams;

Ruck coupons the length of the field.   Do 10 calf raises with coupon at each end.   Switch coupons after calf raises.
