With the ruck on

  • Step Ups x 20 (10 each leg)
  • Derkins x 10
  • Incline Merkin x 10

Take Rucks off

4 Men per team, 2 teams

  • 1 man carry 2 rucks up the hill and back
  • Other men use Pipes, sandbags and rucks and do AMRAP of Curls, Presses, Squats, BBS rotating when the man gets back from the hill

Finish with 2 more laps around park

    • Do the following exercises in descending order.  Once you’re finished box jump up the concrete bleachers & run to the top of the hill.   Rinse & repeat eliminating the lowest number exercise until you’re left with only calf raises.
      • 15 calf raises
      • 14 superman swims
      • 13 decline merkins
      • 12 squats
      • 11 American hammers (4 ct)
      • 10 thrust merkins
      • 9 reverse lunge (each leg)
      • 8 box cutters
      • 7 burpees
      • 6 squat jumps
      • 5 side crunch (each side)
      • 4 incline merkins

I recently heard something on the radio that absolutely pierced my heart.  The speaker asked the following question:  If God answered every one of the prayers you’ve prayed over the past few months and gave you everything you’ve asked for, who’s life would be changed other than your own?  That hit me hard because I can be extremely selfish in my prayer life and focus on only myself and my problems.  As a Christian man I need to be more intentional about praying for Gods will in other people’s lives.  Who are you praying for intentionally?  Your wife?  Your kids?  Your boss?  Co-workers?  Missionaries?  When you pray is there a selfish motive behind what you’re asking for?  Christ tells us to pray for His will to be done.  My goal is to remember that when I come before the Lord in prayer.  Also to remember who I’m talking to and that there is a much bigger world out there that needs a loving savior the same as I do.

MOLESKIN:

At bleachers :
30 second fence Spider-Mans
10 pull ups
Bleacher box jumps x3 then bear crawl up hill to field

At the field,
50 yd Sprint, 2 Round the clock Merkins, 50 yd sprint, 20 BBS, ….repeat 3 Times

Mosey to the bottom field hill up from the  baseball field trail.
7s with Dry Docks at bottom and SSHs at the top.

On a table are two dice, one white and one blue. White one specifies exercise, blue one specifies mode of transportation:

Right before returning to the AO, we were at 45 burpees for the day (not counting the partner Hi/Low). Everyone crank out 5 more for the even 50, then mosey to the AO.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Last week I had the privilege of chaperoning my daugher’s 7th grade class trip to Washington DC.  Friday morning before we left we were able to attend the changing of the guard and a wreath laying with taps at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  It’s one of the most moving things you can witness there in Washington, and if you can watch that without misty eyes and a lump in your throat you’re a harder man than I.  We shouldn’t isolate our thankfulness and gratitude to God and these honored dead to two days a year.  In some countries, the gathering we participated in today could have ended in jail or worse for us.  Let’s try daily not to take what we have been blessed with for granted, and pray for those that are in worse situations.
MOLESKIN:
I hate that everyone wasn’t able to make the GrowRuck, but barring that I can’t think of a better way to spend the morning. I missed everyone this week while I was hacking up my lungs! Hope you men can avoid the crud going around. Big props to Peach Fuzz for rounding out the burpees with an extra effort! Great drive from everyone this morning.
