THE THANG:
Mosey to back of library, Biohack and Mathlete picked teams. We had 2 decks of F3 exercise cards, and a paper to track points. Team with most exercises (points) wins. There were three stages. Stage 1, 4 different places around the Project had to be visited with an excercise to be completed before returning. Stage 2, each member of the teams flips cards and does that excercise until the team flips 30 cards total. Stage 3, each member of the team continues to flip cards and go that excercise, but now adding running up stairs and the doing 2 burpees in between each one. Team Biohack did 82 different excercises and Team Mathlete did 80. To be fair, Team Mathlete had one less person.

COT:
We discussed how we continue to encourage, train up and support each other at F3. The Q today demonstrated that as we worked as individuals, but also teams. II Timothy 1:5. I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and I am persuaded, now lives in you also. Timothy was trained up by his family first, and the Paul. Lets us continue to train up and support our kids, family, friends, colleagues and anyone we come into contact with.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

From Mere Christianity – “Everyone thinks forgiveness is a lovely idea until he has something to forgive.”

It’s always preached to forgive those around you, which I think everyone can always agree is easier said than done. I struggle with forgiveness in specific areas of my life that I have been working on for years. I wanted to challenge everyone to focus on forgiveness in their lives. Whether you’re at a point where you can do it or not, at least make progress.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
When I’m with my kids I often blurt out the risk I see them taking – “don’t fall off that wall”, “don’t spill that drink”.  Telling someone not to fall makes them think about falling and usually leads to them doing the very thing I don’t want to happen.  Instead, to foster a Growth Mindset I should tell them the Mitigation – that thing they can positively do to protect themselves – “Watch where you are putting your feet”, “Carry your drink carefully”.

As HIMs we should try to affect the people around us positively and help them to get better by telling them the mitigation, not make them focus on the risk.

MOLESKIN:
This was my VQ.  Thanks to the PAX for following my lead and swinging those rocks.  From my post Q high, I’d recommend it to all the HIMS at the back to step forward and do it!
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Everyone at the workout got their 100 squats in today.  Post them in the August challenge.
