CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

God Initiates and so should we to get better physically, spiritually, and relationally.

It has been often said that the chief sin of Man is the sin of passivity.  We can be like Adam and standby and allow sin and separation to occur.  We busy ourselves with the material world while disengaging relationally or emotionally from what is going on in and around us.  We don’t have to be in great shape to show up to F3 and get better.  All we have to do is set the alarm, show up, and work hard.   Are there places in our lives relationally where we have avoided discussions because they are hard or uncomfortable?  We don’t have to have all the right answers we just need to initiate and step in where we know God is calling us.  Don’t be silent like Adam.  Step up an be the leader that God has called you to be.

MOLESKIN:
Prayers for the students family and friends that lost his life on campus due to alcohol poisoning.  Praying that those effected would be impacted in a positive way through the other students seeking to meet them where they are and share the Gospel.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

Be content with the gifts and blessings that God grants you. We all fall into the trap of wanting more…..just a little more money, a little bigger house, a nicer vehicle, just a little more time, a little more grace from our spouses. The bottom line, though, is that no matter how much “more” we have in terms of worldly possessions, it will never provide the fulfillment and joy that we are seeking. No matter how much “better” our circumstances become, we will never be satisfied. We must avoid the temptation to keep wanting more, and instead, be content and thankful for everything that God has already given to us.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM
We reap what we sow, but not in the same season.

This is a biblical principle that we would do well to heed ourselves, and train our children in.  It explains why it is so easy to pursue unrighteous, unhealthy, “bad” things and hard to pursue righteous, healthy, good things.  The delayed fruit causes us to be short-sighted, and we pay a price for it in the long haul.  This is why long term goals couple with short term grit is critical for growth.  Keep your eyes fixed ahead and do simply do the next right thing.  The fruit will come, in it’s due season.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
