After every completed round PAX were given the option for how far they wanted to run / recover all the way down the hill and back. Most ran but some tired to be more stationary.

It was 6:08 after the first round so the Q called Recover but we were also supposed to attempt to repeat the above except as follows:

Round 2 – With a partner or a group of 3 so half as many reps and hopefully twice as fast.
Round 3 – All PAX split up and 1 person does only an exercise so everyone can go as fast as they can with each exercise.

Fellowship mosey (S/O to Ribbed for this term) to the second corner then Mosey back to the spot the flag normally is.

MARY:
Cumulative MARY where each PAX leads a MARY exercise but then the previous MARY exercises are also done:

COT:
The purpose of the workout was supposed to demonstrate how we need each other and how when we do help and work with each other it tremendously lightens our load but also helps us accomplish things better together.

Right now is the season known as Advent – the season of waiting. We wait for many things – I’m waiting for major ones. Not for 400 years – but it is an unknown amount of time I’m waiting. What are you waiting for? Now consider this – God doesn’t want you to or me to waste our waiting. We can sow to reap even while we’re waiting. One of the temptations we all face is to isolate and get away from it all – especially with secret sin. I’ve done that more times than I can count even while being “known” by those around me. But as the verse says, “do not be deceived, God is not mocked.”

This isn’t a merely hard warning for those who do want to please God, but His discipline will correct you and me just as a loving father to his children. Today God offers us all a choice – to share or not. To sow in the waiting or not. To be known by others or not.

Sin hides in the dark – it doesn’t want to be seen. But while it will be one day the Lord Jesus came as a baby after 400 years of waiting so that you and I can bring it to the light and be healed:
James 5:16 says. “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

So today, I tell you I’m sowing in the waiting and I invite you to join me. Confessing our sins of lust, self-righteousness, anger, pride, laziness, fartsacking, and so much more – so that you may be healed.

Boomer and I will be meeting and inviting any other men who are willing and able to join us on Tuesdays at Dunkin (401 N Cedar Bluff Rd, 37923) from 630am-730am after shamruck to study Finally Free, a book on sexual purity, for the next 10 or so weeks. Come join us to know and be known while walking out this most critical of all Achilles Heels for any man so you can become a HIM.

COT: community is our design. Going it alone sucks.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

COT:
In John 6:27 Jesus says, “Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life (ESV). This thought made me wonder how much time I give to bread that perishes as opposed to bread that endures to eternal life. I focus on money a lot in my life. Some out of necessity, and some out of idolatry and poor budgeting. I need to rearrange my system of finances to align more with this passage. To prioritize spiritual food over food that perishes.
