Mosey to the “Boat” w/CMU:
CMU curls, presses & merkins x20
Mosey to steps w/CMU pressing x5 at each light pole.
At steps CMU curls, press, merkin X20
Leave CMU and run up steps and path to top, return
(Run it twice if needed to catch 6)
Mosey with CMU to Matterhorn:
CMU curl, press and merkins x20

W/o CMU, Sprint to light pole, 10 merkins, sprint to top of Matterhorn 10 merkins and Wagon Wheel back down to six and back up.

Mosey to Pavalon and partner up
50 reps each
Pull ups and Dips
Partner 1 does AMRAP pull-ups while Partner 2 does AMRAP Dips
Switch when necessary till you reach 50 of each

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
I shared with the PAX a story of an elderly woman that I met at the hospital who was looking for her car. As I was showing her where to go find it, we started talking and she shared with me that her husband was just recently put on hospice care. I asked her more about her family and she said she had none.  she had no kids and they had just moved to the area from Florida expecting to retire here. They do not have any friends in the area and she will be alone. I walked with her for a considerable amount of time to her car.  She asked if I was married and with my answer she said make sure I hug my wife when I get home. She asked for a hug when we got to her car and I obliged her as well as asking her name so I may pray for her. I told the story not to say that I’m special For doing this, as I was just showing her where her car was, but to point out there are lots of people going through things that are difficult and we should keep an eye out for those folks. Get to know people better, reach out to people  we know but not well, and reach out to complete strangers even. Ask if you can pray for people when they share with you. Be open with your faith. The last thing she said to me when she was at her car  was, I think God put you in my path today, thank you.
MOLESKIN:
We had to hard-working FNG’s today, the whole PAX worked hard and got the job done together. It was good to see everyone doing the wagon wheel for the six. No one complained  about the extra running with a CMU to bring up or brothers.

Everyone line up on the curb and get in groups of 3.

Triple Sprints
2 men at Cone 1 (orange cones) and 1 man at Cone 2 (orange cone).  One man at Cone 1 runs to Cone 2 while other two men do exercises at the cone, stopping in the middle at the yellow cone to do 2 burpees.  Then man at Cone 2 runs to Cone 1 while other men do exercises.  First man now runs to Cone 2.  Rinse and repeat for 6 minutes.

Upper Body:
Cone 1 = Diamond Merkins / Carolina Dry Docks
Cone 2 = Shoulder Taps / Superman Swims

Abs:
Cone 1 = American Hammers / Lance Armstrongs
Cone 2 = Flutter Kick / Hello Dollys

Lower Body:

Start with 1 exercise, adding another exercise until all 5 exercises are completed in succession. Then, work back down until only the last exercise is left. 20 seconds (20s) per exercise:

Part of our growth is spiritual.  One observation YHC has made recently is that most men seem restrained and bored on Sunday mornings at church.  Rather than their faith igniting them, it seems to be hindering them from being who they are.  This is the exact opposite of God’s intent for us as men.  Our faith is not meant to fence us in, but fuel us for a life of impact and significance!  My faith informs me that there are no idle moments, everything has eternal significance.  Even the most mundane experiences, when viewed though faith have potential to be life-changing.  It’s about perspective.  It’s about seeing our lives as more than a quest for self-comfort and self-satisfaction.  It’s about seeing life as Jesus did…an adventure where we are part of something greater than ourselves.  We are meant to be life-givers, servant-leaders…HIMs!

It was a beautiful, clear, cool Monday morning and the PAX were out in force!  No mosey today, all business.  The men busted it for a solid 45 minutes and it was a great start to the week.  We also had a guest, cameraman from WVLT news was on site to get some video for a story they will be doing later this week.  No Sad Clown Is Safe!!!

BOM:  Showed a quick clip of Penn Jillette (an Atheist) expressing his views on proselytization. His view: if you truly believe something to be true (i.e. heaven/hell, Jesus is the only way to heaven) and don’t share your faith about that item then you are in fact hating your fellow man. He goes on to say that if he truly believes a bus is about to hit someone, then he is eventually going to help that person get out of the way. He says Christians who don’t proselytize are the equivalent of letting that same person get run over by the bus. Honestly, he’s right. This video hits close to home because it is true of many Christians. My challenge to the PAX was to take time to reflect on this. Who do you share your faith with? Do you take your DRP when it comes to sharing your faith and having tough conversations?

It’s easy to love family, friends, F3 brothers. It’s not easy loving everyone. Are we lovable? Not always. We have sin in our hearts we are going to disappoint.

My man Frosty, put it on my heart to talk about something we don’t do.  Something that even when we set out to do it we sometimes call an abort or chicken out at the last minute.  My fellow Christians and I are called to witness, or go out and spread the word about our Savior to others.  How quickly we talk about F3, invite other men to F3, wear F3 shirts, post on the F3 site or even post in on our F3 GroupMe, FaceBook, Instagram or whatever, but how often we fail to go out and teach others about Jesus.  Whether it be for societal reasons, or our own personal fears.  (I know I struggle with feeling that I will say the wrong thing and scare people off. ) However, what we need to know is that when we speak about Jesus, He will give us the words he wants us to speak.  He will work in us, through us, and use us to spread His message.

Mark 16:15-16
“He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

I don’t want our brothers, F3 or otherwise to be condemned.

MOLESKIN
21 men showed up to go on a Mosey with me today.  I tried to make it challenging, and contrary to the mumblechatter I was NOT trying to have anyone splash merlot. I also wanted to push some of the PAX to try things.  If we go into a challenge thinking we won’t succeed, guess what? we won’t succeed.  When you come around the corner and you see “Burpees 50” or “Pull-ups 50” written on the ground, how do you get better if you don’t try?  I am proud to say that everyone in this PAX tried.  No one gave up and quit, everyone kept moving and working hard.  I give it to the PAX that they went on a Mosey with me and never gave up.
