  • music and cones! 4 cones to make one big box. With Chumbawumba playing, do SSH and when they say “I get knocked down” do a broad jump burpee to each cone. the key was to broad jump good enough to make it around the cones before the song was finished. Usually, you SSH/burpee in place the whole song but not this time. it pays to be a winner!

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
I’ve noticed on weekends that I am either extremely lazy or extremely productive, and usually nowhere in between.  I either just lay around and never get started doing anything or once I get started it just leads to staying busy.  The latter was yesterday, and it simply started with doing laundry early.  Then I painted something I had put off for months.  I fixed a broken section of fence that has needed attention for at least a month.  Cleaned up the utility room.  Found clothes to donate….I just encouraged men to get started with something and see how far it takes them to accomplish other things as well.
MOLESKIN:

Keep Rick (G6’s son) and Blake (Scope’s father) in our prayers as they both have surgeries upcoming.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

It seems like the last few weeks have been filled with story after story of tragic accidents and loss of life. It’s easy to get caught up in our own lives and worry about the “stresses of tomorrow” – discounting the blessings of today by worrying about what we may face tomorrow. However, we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. Worrying about tomorrow doesn’t take away those troubles; it simply steals the joy from today.

I’m terrible about taking today for granted and worrying about what tomorrow may bring. It’s usually when I’m confronted with a story about tragic loss of life that makes me momentarily realize how precious today really is. I use the word “momentarily” because it typically lasts for a day or so and then I’m right back to worrying about tomorrow.

Let’s celebrate the blessings of today.
