Talked about an encouraging text I got from a friend yesterday and felt compelled to do the same thing to someone else.  Discussed the power of affirmation and encouragement of each other and that our words have power.  Referenced Romans 15:2 Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Phil 2:4.  I had an experience the other day where God put somebody in my path and counseled me to be patient and listen to what they wanted to say more than to their words.  I tend to hurry conversations along, pulling only information I think is important for me to do what I think I need to do.  What God wants me to do is listen more so I can spot times when I might be able to help somebody.
MOLESKIN:
Prayers for Rainbow’s friend Paul, who is struggling right now; for Waxjob’s family and mother-in-law Karen, who is close to the end of her earthly journey; and prayers for Snag and his Dad.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Spoke on John Chapter 18 vs 36 Where Christ is being quizzed by Pilot about who he is and Christ reply’s “My kingdom is not of this world.  If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that  might not be delivered over to the Jews.  But My kingdom is not of this world.”

If anyone should have felt hopeless it was Jesus in that situation.  He was going to be tortured and killed, and he knew it.  Yet he knew it wasn’t the end for him.  That his kingdom is not of this world and neither should ours be.  That evil may when for a short time, but our God triumphs over it in the end.  So we should be hopeful not hopeless in our times of trial, because we were made for something bigger.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Over the course of a few weeks at work, I encountered 2 instances where patients or coworkers yelled for help. Instinctively, I sprang into action. It’s easier to answer the calls for help when they are loud enough for everyone to hear, but what about the cries we don’t hear? Be aware of those around you who aren’t outwardly crying for help. Be kind to others, we don’t know what everyone is going through.
