CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

In our jobs we sometimes do thing for the reason of “That’s the way we’ve always done it.” And sometimes that reasoning works it’s way into our home and spiritual lives. When we ask ourselves ‘Why’, what answer can you give? The why question has been put on front of me in multiple ways this week and honestly I couldn’t always give a reason. It made me realize how much of my life is on autopilot with the answer of because. It is time to change that. Ask yourself why throughout the day/week and see what answers you get.

What is the purpose of F3?

Our mission it’s to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.

One aspect of this is mentoring men in our group and our community. We have many young men in our lives that need guidance, encouragement, or just a man to talk to. Find those opportunities and start developing those relationships. The flip side of that coin is to find a mentor. Just like we need to pour into the lives of younger men, we need to have those men that pour into our lives.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
On June 6, 1944, American troops started the assault on Omaha and Utah beaches. As A-Rod had stated on Thursday, many of the men were between the ages of 17-19. These were young men who were not conscripted, drafted, or forced to be there; they volunteered. Nothing about the situation was easy, but they chose to do the hard thing. Those that survived the landing were surrounded by their fallen brothers-in-arms. I can only imagine the thoughts going through their heads. Thoughts of not surviving the day or ever returning home. They could have given up right there and waited for the inevitable to come, but they chose to do the hard thing. They moved forward.

We have it pretty easy today. We don’t face life and death choices like these boys did. But we can still make the hard choices. Get up and go to a workout that will be brutal. Stand up for our families and our choices. Stand up for our communities. Strive to do what is right throughout the day.
