Decided to take Butterknife on a trip down memory lane with the first two Q’s he came out to.

Mosey to the large north side parking lot for a little throwback to 2019 IPC Week 1.

Perform the “Killer B’s” (modified to be much easier):

  • Broad Jump to the next parking line.
  • 5 Burpies

Performed three rounds of the above.

Mosey back to the CMU pile for a throwback to IPC week 2. “Meatloaf’s Massacre”

Grab a CMU and perform the following:

  • 5 CMU Man Makers
  • 10 CMU OHP
  • 15 CMU Swings
  • 20 CMU Squats
  • 25 CMU Derkins
  • Run up the stairs and slap the sports center

Live third.

As men of F3 we are called to live third. Our creator comes first, followed by our community. We need to strive to put the interests of others above our own. Butterknife is a HIM that I have seen grow a ton over the last 2.5 years that he’s been out at F3. He has shared aspects of his life with us and expressed how much F3 has done for him, as it has for me as well. One aspect that I really appreciate is his desire to put others first. He is quick to pick up the six or make an FNG feel welcome. He’s been a leader at JUCO and has helped us all to grow. Today I’m excited to pass the torch of JUCO AOQ to Butterknife. I know he’ll lift up the men of JUCO and help push the mission of F3 as a whole.

Philippians 2: 1-11

  • Mosey to Flagpole for 4 Corners on the track (3 laps) (Reps 20-15-10)
    • LBC’s, Mountain Climbers (4-count), Jump Squats, Merkins
    • Freddie Mercury at Flagpole til 6 is up
  • Mosey to Rock Pile and pick a rock
    • Rows, then dry docks at the dock (20-15-10-5)
    • Rock Curls (10 lower, 10 upper, 10 full motion)
    • Tricep Extensions (20)
    • Lunge up ramp to bathroom w/ rock shouldered.  Alternate shoulders half way.
    • 5’s at bathroom (Squats w/ rock & pullups), replace rock
  • Mosey to top parking lot
    • Partner up.  1 person Bernies to the end of parking lot while other person does 10 Merkins before trying to catch their partner.  Switch Places.  Repeat x3

THA-THANG:

Mosey to the top of the Equalizer. Kraken. Pick station, complete 5 reps of the prescribed exercise, then run a full lap around the course to the next station. Rinse and repeat. On each subsequent round, add 5 reps to each exercise. Push yourself & push each other. Try to catch the guy in front of you. Stations included:

  1. Lunges 
  2. Calf Raise 
  3. Dips 
  4. Shoulder taps
  5. Merks 
  6. Flutter Kicks 
  7. CDD 
  8. Squats 

Once the PAX had completed a 5k (roughly three full rounds), recover was called and a Fellowship Mosey™️ was enjoyed by all.
