We learned that Shooter is studying to attend medical school, and is applying to schools throughout the nation.  We all agreed that Junk is not a normal surgeon because he is a) friendly, and b) seems to really care about people.  We also all agreed that Frosty is a lazy slacker who a week ago told us he would lead the PAX at this Q and instead got scared and snuggled in his fartsack.

Sprints and Hills

  • mosey the long way to the soccer field
  • sprint the length of the field and mosey back on the sidelines x a lot
  • mosey to the paved hill
  • up the hill to the bench and back down x a lot

No Marys here, just a bunch of dudes tired from wind sprints

  • Mosey around the baseball fields, Ascending Squats at each Lamppost (Try not to throw your back out!)
  • Plank it up in the parking lot
  • Wheel of Merkin OYO x 5
  • Mosey to the Cans and pick up something Heavy (Sandbag, Bucket or CMU), mosey to Soccer Field
  • Dora 1-2-3
  • 100 Mtn Climber Heel Taps
  • 200 BBS
  • 300 Plank Jacks
  • Farmer Carry one or two (Pax Choice) to Midfield and Switch
  • Split into 2 Teams – Relay style
  • Relay Number 1 – Bear Snake Moan to Midfield and Back
  • Relay Number 2 – 2 Pax Double Farmer Carry to Midfield and Back. Remaining Pax does Rocky Balboas/Mtn Climbers
  • Relay Number 3 – AYG Sprints
  • Grab something heavy and hoof it back to the AO with some Lunges mixed in

A Father isn’t always what you may think it is. We can show love and acceptance that can really make a difference to the people in our lives. My Father-in-Law showed me what it was like to be welcomed into a family.
MOLESKIN:
Great turnout this morning, with a visitor from Davidson (Kwame), who brought us the gift of an FNG this morning (Podium) it was a challenging workout. I thought I was going to have to turn the Q over this morning after throwing my back out in the first 10 minutes… It was great to see the PAX step up when I went down. I am always humbled when I’m around these guys. Thanks for pushing HIM’s!

Cardio at the Truck Stop

MOLESKIN:
My foot hurt and I limped back to the AO while the other two ran ahead.  Sorry guys.  Butters and I decided we both need new shoes.

THA-THANG:
Break into 2 teams

Team 1 does 5 burpees while team 2 starts the mosey.

Team 2 Mosey long way to soccer field at Watt Rd.  Stop at each light and do 5 merkins (total of 80)

Team 1 follows after the burpees.  Team 2 did their 5 burpees at the field while waiting on team 1.

BLIMPS relay

One team member runs length of field and back while rest of team completes AMRAP of the following;

Burpees

Lunges

Imperial Walkers

Merkins

Plank Jacks

Squats

Escalator variant – do exercise A, run a lap around the field, at same corner do exercise A and B, run another lap…repeat for the four exercises

A – Burpees x 5

B – Merkins x 10

C – Squats x 15

D – BBS x 20

Once complete we went down the escalator starting with 20 BBS, run a lap….repeat.
