CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Today was my earthly birthday but I wanted to share what was on my mind, my spiritual birthday, the day I was baptized, November 14, 2010. My earthly birthday doesnt even compare in importance.  I came to Christ late in life, a result of a string of different events, having a Godly wife, surrounding myself with Godly men and mentors, and reading the Gospel. I know Chrostians who have never been baptized, usually they claim it doesn’t save (true, faith does), they just have never gotten around to it, or ask why it matters.  i shared two crucial reasons why baptism is really importantt and does matter: 1) Jesus commands it in Matthew 28 (need I say more?) and 2) it is a symbol of our unity with him in his death and resurrection, a public profession that you are on his team.  if you are a believer and have never been baptized, what are you waiting for?
MOLESKIN:
Some guys really got into the pickle pounders.  Disturbing.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
It is difficult hearing your 2 year old telling you “no” to a hug or a kiss.  I think the reason she says this is because she doesn’t see me as much or spend time with me as much as her mother.  Kids do tend to have there preferences as to which parent they want around them most.  This reminds me that spending time with family is important.  Make sure to make your family a higher priority than yourself.  Developing close relationships always takes time.
MOLESKIN:
Kudos to Judge Judy for the solo pre-ruck.

We played the 7 of diamonds this morning and won big! We started with a mosey and formed a line for an Indian run and found a nice “diamond-shaped” parking lot. Here’s the 7 of diamonds.  Do each exercise at each corner of the diamond.  All exercises are in increments of 7.

  • 28 SSH
  • 21 flutter kicks IC
  • 14 wide-arm merkins

I had 2 rounds planned, but I didn’t think that we would get to the 2nd.  We got 7 diamond merkins at the corners and started on our way back.

  • 14 walking lunges at the beginning followed by a mosey for a little bit.
  • 21 mountain climbers and mosey to the F3 parking lot
  • 28 hello Dolly (single count)
  • jail break to the shovel flag
  • 21 crabets to finish off.

MARY:
I guess you could call the crabets our Mary.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Be a servant leader.  John 13:13-16.  Jesus had just washed the disciples’ feet showing a great example of being a servant leader.  He humbled himself and became a servant to accomplish God’s will on this earth.  Look to His example and remember that being a leader is about serving others.  So, step up and take those leadership opportunities in front of you and serve!
MOLESKIN:
Pre-ruck with Doubtfire, Judge Judy, and Spotter was a great way to start the day!  Thanks men.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
CSAUP tomorrow!  If you have never done an event like this, I highly recommend it!  It is definitely an experience you will enjoy and not forget.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:

“If you pray for rain, take an umbrella.”

This phrase has always stuck with me when I consider the things I pray for. If you’re going to ask for God to intervene in your life, you need to have faith that He will do so. Our faith is manifested in the belief that God will answer our prayers. Ezra is a great example of this principle. When Ezra made plans to travel from Babylon back to Jerusalem he refused an escort from the King. He knew he would be traveling a long distance through hostile land, but he insisted that he did not need an escort because he had prayed to God for protection. Ezra had faith that God would answer his prayer and he acted on this faith. The next time you pray, don’t forget to take your umbrella.

MOLESKIN:
Shoutout to Bagger and Judge Judy for joining me on the pre-ruck and to Erector for knocking out a pre-run. We’d love to grow the pre-ruck/pre-run group. Come on out at 4:45 for some extra credit.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
