As someone who has struggled with depression I challenge all HIMs to seek those who may struggle with these disease.  A lot of times you may not realize they are going thru this.  So this holiday season talk to your family, friends, co-workers, and your kids.  Say hello to those you may not necessarily hang out or talk to.  A simple hello can be such a powerful gesture.  If someone you suspect is going thru depression invite them to church or an F3 workout.  I have been blessed to have been led to  F3 knoxville.

Jeremiah 31:2 — “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness.”

Many of us face struggles frequently whether it be financial, work life, home life, etc, that makes us stumble or scared to move forward. If we can be persistent and push through our problems, we’ll always be rewarded in the end. Sometimes God tests our faith or wants to see how we’ll push through a problem to see what kind of person we are, and its our job to get through that test. He will reward us with grace in the end.

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Typically when putting the kids to bed it is easy to let her do the bed time reading when I know I should share the responsibility.  Recently reading the daily devotional 4128-uncommen-being-better-husbands-and-fathers-daily it mentioned that kids who are read to by dad, according to a study by Harvard University researchers, have better-developed language skills than kids who were read to by mom.   It goes to show that easy way is not always the best way.

Waffle house shared afterwards that reading to his kids (oldest is 16) is still an extremely rewarding experience!

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Thinking about the pain and sickness in our lives should remind us that this is not our home! We will one day stand before the Lord and hear those words, “Well done good, and faithful servant.” – we must remember that the Good and Faithful is not because we did those things, in fact, most of our lives are opposites of that. But Christ is the perfect sacrifice he died once and for all! It’s his perfect righteousness that we live under and are clothed by that God see! We didn’t earn it!
