CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
I recently got the opportunity to get some constructive feedback that brought about a bit of an internal struggle for me between my ego and my rational mind. My ego wanted to go straight to being defensive or make justification/excuses for what needed improvement, but that is totally the wrong reaction. I had to take a step back mentally and make the decision to flush that ego down the toilet and open up to that feedback. Without that, I can’t improve. We’re all here in this relationship as HIMs and in our daily lives to help one another get better… Be careful not to let your ego get in the way of that process.
MOLESKIN:
PAX moved fast in the cold today. Blew right through the 50/50s. Great to have Tank show up at Coffeeteria!

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Will you “Go out” without knowing?
“He (Abraham) went out, not knowing where he was going” (Hebrews 11:8)
See My Utmost for His Highest, Jan. 2
When God tells you to go, he usually doesn’t tell you His end game. Have faith that He knows what He’s doing and obey!
MOLESKIN:
Thanks, Crawdad for taking care of all the cheetahs in the group and making sure they didn’t get bored waiting for the rest of us… My apologies on running over. I really need to get over there sometime during the day to get a good mental map of the place. Doesn’t help planning that the satellite images are all outdated!

CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Not so wordy this morning to avoid becoming a sweatcicle.  As we start this year, remember Paul’s words in Philippians 3:13: “Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”  We all want to forget the bad parts of the past, but Paul here is not talking about that.  He just got done listing all of his own accomplishments done in the flesh, and how they are not of worth.  Don’t rest on things you’ve done.  Forget that past as well, and press forward for His calling!
MOLESKIN:
Coldest day of the year was no problem for these guys.  Killed it hard.  Icicles were forming on beards from breath condensation, but everyone was sweating by the end.

COUNT-OFF & NAME-O-RAMA
5 players in the game this morning, no FNGs
CIRCLE OF TRUST/BOM:
Playing the game this morning was a little bit like our Christian walk… Everyone read the cards and followed the instructions, but I was also there alongside, and I knew exactly where we were going and what was coming next.  For real life, we have written instruction that we can follow to the best of our ability, but we also have the Holy Spirit within us, walking with us.  He knows the beginning, middle, and end. He knows what’s written on all your cards because He wrote them.  And they’re for our good, because He loves us.  Sometimes it’s difficult, but we need to make the choice daily to trust Him.
MOLESKIN:
Fun morning getting to work with these men! Worked hard playing hard!
